General

What areas do you serve?

We serve Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Paradise, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Boulder City and the surrounding Clark County area. Same-day appointments are often available within our core service area.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Right Connection Plumbing and Drain is a licensed Nevada plumbing contractor and carries full liability and workers' compensation insurance. Every technician is background-checked and trained in-house before working in your home.

Do you offer emergency or same-day service?

Yes. We keep trucks stocked and routes open for urgent calls such as burst pipes, sewer backups and failed water heaters. Call (725) 213-8358 any time; if we can reach you the same day, we will.

What COVID-19 or health safety practices do you follow?

Our technicians wear protective footwear, respect social distancing and sanitize high-touch tools and surfaces. If you have special requests, let us know when you book.

Appointments & Pricing

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can request service online through our request form or call (725) 213-8358. We will confirm your arrival window by text or phone.

Do you charge for estimates?

Most standard estimates and inspections are free for homeowners in our service area. Diagnostic work for complex issues, such as locating a hidden leak or sewer camera inspection, may carry a flat diagnostic fee that is disclosed up front.

Will I know the price before work starts?

Absolutely. We provide a written, flat-rate price before any work begins. There are no surprise charges after the job; if the scope changes, we discuss it with you first.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. For larger projects, we also offer financing options with approved credit.

Drains & Sewers

Why do my drains keep clogging?

Repeated clogs usually mean grease, soap scum, hair or roots are building up inside the pipe. A single snake may clear the symptom, but a camera inspection and hydro jetting often solve the underlying problem.

What is hydro jetting?

Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to scour the inside of a drain or sewer line. It removes scale, grease and root intrusion better than a mechanical snake and helps prevent future backups.

How do I know if I have a sewer line problem?

Warning signs include multiple drains backing up at once, gurgling toilets, sewage odors inside or outside the home, and wet spots in the yard. A sewer camera inspection is the fastest way to confirm the cause.

Can you fix a sewer line without digging up my yard?

In many cases, yes. We offer trenchless sewer repair options such as pipe lining and pipe bursting when the damage is localized and the pipe is a good candidate. We will explain whether trenchless is right for your line.

Water Heaters

How long should a water heater last?

Traditional tank water heaters typically last 8 to 12 years with proper maintenance. Tankless units can last 15 to 20 years. If your unit is nearing that age and showing signs of failure, replacement is usually more cost-effective than repeated repairs.

Should I repair or replace my water heater?

If the tank is leaking, heavily corroded or more than 10 years old, replacement is usually the better investment. For newer units with a bad element, gas valve or thermostat, repair often makes sense. We will give you an honest recommendation.

What are the benefits of a tankless water heater?

Tankless heaters provide endless hot water, take up less space, use less energy over time and last longer than traditional tanks. They are especially popular in Las Vegas homes with large families or limited utility space.

Do you install both gas and electric water heaters?

Yes. We install and repair gas, electric and tankless water heaters, and we can help you compare operating costs and rebates for each option.

Leaks & Repairs

How can I tell if I have a hidden leak?

Look for an unexplained spike in your water bill, the sound of running water when everything is off, warm spots on the floor, damp drywall or a musty smell. Our leak detection equipment can pinpoint the source without unnecessary demolition.

What causes low water pressure?

Common causes include sediment buildup in fixtures, partially closed shut-off valves, corroded galvanized pipes, a hidden leak or pressure issues from the municipal supply. We diagnose the cause before recommending a fix.

Can you repair a slab leak without tearing up my floor?

Many slab leaks can be rerouted through the walls or ceiling, avoiding floor demolition. The best approach depends on the leak location, pipe material and your home's layout.

Water Treatment

Is Las Vegas water really that hard?

Yes. Southern Nevada water is among the hardest in the country. Over time, hard water leaves scale in pipes, water heaters and fixtures, and it makes soap less effective.

What is the difference between a water softener and a filtration system?

A water softener removes calcium and magnesium that cause hardness. A filtration system removes chlorine, sediment and other contaminants to improve taste and odor. Some homes benefit from both.

How often does a water softener need maintenance?

Most systems need salt added every 4 to 8 weeks depending on usage and hardness. We also recommend an annual inspection to check the resin, valves and settings.
